Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are
Relocate France (SIREN 891923567) provides relocation guidance to English speakers moving to or living in France. RelocationPal is our online application, available at relocate-france.com.
You can reach us through the contact form on the Relocate France website.
2. What RelocationPal is — and is not
RelocationPal gives practical information and organisation: a personalised plan, answers with links to official sources, document reading and language help. It is not legal, tax, immigration or financial advice, and it does not replace a lawyer, accountant or official authority.
Human consultations with a Relocate France expert are separate services, ordered and charged separately. They are not included in your membership.
3. Your account
RelocationPal requires an account with a verified email address so that your plan, documents and messages stay private to you. You agree to give accurate information and to keep your login details secure.
You are responsible for activity carried out with your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.
4. The 30-day free trial
New members receive a 30 consecutive day free trial with full access. A payment card is required to begin, but €0.00 is charged when the trial starts.
Your first payment of €11.99 is taken automatically on the day the trial ends, unless you cancel before that date. The exact date is shown in your confirmation email and in My Subscription.
One introductory trial is allowed per person and per payment card. We may refuse a trial where we have reasonable grounds to believe it has already been used.
5. Subscription, price and renewal
After the trial, RelocationPal membership costs €11.99 per month. It renews automatically every month until you cancel, using the payment method held by our payment provider, Stripe.
Prices are in euro. Relocate France is a French micro-entreprise operating under the franchise en base de TVA (article 293 B du CGI), so no French VAT is charged or added to your subscription; this mention appears on your invoices.
We may change the price or these terms with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal; if you do not accept the change you can cancel before it takes effect.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive billing identifiers and payment status only — we never see or store your full card details.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel online at any time from My Subscription, in a few clicks, without giving a reason and without contacting us.
Cancel during the trial and you will not be charged. Cancel after a payment and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for; no further payments are taken.
Full details are in our Cancellation terms.
7. If a payment fails
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and we email you so you can update your card. Your access continues while the payment is being retried. If it remains unpaid, we restrict premium access until it is settled. Your saved plan, documents and messages are kept.
8. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under French consumer law or the law of your country of residence.
Digital services normally carry a 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting your trial you ask us to supply the service immediately. Because no payment is taken during the trial, cancelling before it ends leaves nothing to refund.
If you are not satisfied with our response to a complaint, you may contact the consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) whose details we will provide on request, or the consumer authority in your country.
9. Availability, changes and liability
We work to keep RelocationPal available and accurate, and we check guidance against official sources. We may improve, change or temporarily suspend features for maintenance.
RelocationPal provides information to help you decide; you remain responsible for decisions you take. We are not liable for decisions made by administrations, or for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our failure. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of that country.
